Being on the job hunt, whether you are in between or looking to level up, can be an insanely frustrating process.  You’re qualified for it, you keep seeing it getting reposted, no response, and WTF is going on.  Sound familiar?

Here’s the workaround idea: make a list of brands you would want to work for, find the people you’d like work under (even a CEO has a board to report to), hit them up, and your future coworkers at the brand, pitch yourself, keep adding brands and people to your list as you think of more you want to be a part of, hit them up, keep iterating.  Now you’re blazing a trail pursuing opportunities and there’s no line or competition – it’s just you.
